Covatta in Pennsylvania

Robert A. Covatta Sr., 65, of Douglassville, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Reading, of natural causes.
Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Anthony and Elsie D’Angelo Covatta. He was the owner of Covatta’s Brinton Lodge, Douglassville, for 26 years. He loved and enjoyed operating his resturant and spending time with his friends there. He is survived by three sons, Robert A. Covatta Jr. of Royersford, John F., husband of Lori Covatta of Birdsboro, and Anthony C. Covatta of Douglassville; three daughters, Trisha A., wife of Jim Mower of East Coventry, Michelle M., wife of Jose Moreno of Oley and Lauren A., wife of Ethan Jones of Douglassville; two brothers, Richard Covatta of Malvern and Thomas Covatta of Collegeville; one sister, Concetta Wolf of Oley; eight grandchildren, Leanne and Daniel Mower, Casey Covatta, Sean and Adam Covatta, and Alyssa, Shannon and Christian Moreno; dear friends, Laurie and Jon Engleman; and their children, Madeline and Jack.
